I have a text variable living in the header of my slides. Each slide displays the variable content perfectly. However, the player menu shows only the %moduletitle% insert. Is there any way to tell the menu to use the variable and not display it this way?? Bad news if not.
That's an interesting idea! The menu pulls the slide title directly from the slide title field, and it won't be impacted by triggers that adjust variables.
I'm curious to see what other ideas the community will share with you, though!
:( Sad face. I hate to bring up the C word, but this is how I have always managed titles in Captivate, so thought I could do the same here. It's so nice when your client ends up deciding on a title change. :D Well...guess I will just have to settle with no crashes...which in some ways is so relieving!

Hi Joe,
You can change those titles easily to reflect on the menu as well.
This conversation gives a few scenarios of how you may need to handle this task :)
