I adjusted my player settings to require users to click on the Next button to advance the slides rather than advancing to the next slide when the timeline was complete. Now the first slide won't advance ...at all. It doesn't advance when the timeline is finished OR when the user clicks Next.
I have tried looking at the Player settings but the advance arrow appears grayed out in the menu. I also tried redoing the slide and then deleting the "trouble" one, as the settings from Slide 2 onward appear to be fine. No matter what I do the Beginning slide will not advance.
Thanks Wendy! I don't know why it is showing that way for me now when I publish it and click View. It was playing fine before. Maybe I just need to Save, close out and restart or something...
it's recommended to upload and test your your file to the intended environment (LMS/Webserver etc) where the end user will view it. Sometimes preview and publish will differ slightly as will the published flash vs html5 versions.

I'm not having trouble moving from slide 1 to slide 2 using the Next button - see attached video. I'm viewing locally through Chrome
