I'm trying to play a screencast video in a new window without the learner having to click on it. Can this be done? I am using Storyline 360 and have changed the show video option to play in new browser window.
Currently, there isn't a click-less option when playing media in a new browser window.
Could having these video options: Show Video: In Slide and Play Video: Automatically work for your design? That will start the screencast as soon as learners land on the slide.
Yes, it'd work great if you could clear up the blurry video issue. It's either one or the other. I don't understand why this can't be an option to a workaround that I need to use for a video quality playback issue that's persisted for years.
Thanks for letting us know what you'd like to see in Storyline 360! I'm happy to share this with our team. It sounds like you're looking for a fix to a blurry video issue that you're running into with a potential workaround where you can launch the screen-recording in a new window. I love that idea!
Have you tried using the trigger, Open File? As a possible workaround, I'd recommend exporting the screen recording and then using that trigger to open the screen recording in another window.
