Hi, I been working on a storyline project for the past week and I now can not open it. I am getting ‘Storyline Error Report’ box when I try and open the file. The file was saved on a shared drive so have copied to a local, I have booted PC, have renammed, is there anything else I can try? Thanks
Thanks so much Mohd and Robert. I just tried importing the file into new file but came up with error. Thank you for the link. I didnt know about the complications with shared drives. Might be a case of learning by my mistakes!
Sorry to hear about the behavior with your file, and I'm glad Mohd could point you to that support article. If the import didn't work, unfortunately you'll need to start a new file.

That's why they sell USB external drives for backup. I use Windows 8.1 History, works like a charm.
Hi Georgina,
Working on the project the past week on a shared network drive can cause issues as per the following support articles

Can you try creating a new storyline file and use the import feature to import the files from the corrupted storyline?
Kind Regards,
Mohd
