PLEASE HELP ME - with publishing for mobile!!

Oct 08, 2015

I have a client who is keen for me to be able to publish an Articulate Storyline course for mobile viewing through his LMS without learners needing to download the Articulate Mobile App.  I've tried all the options in the help section here, but I can't get it to work.  I've attached the source file here and this is the link to the published version in Dropbox.

When I say I can't get it to work - it publishes, but when you get to the screen that has the Gagne's 9 events blackboard numbers 1-9, if you start at 1, (this is all free navigation - no fancy conditions that make you start at 1 or anything like that) you only get to see 1 and 2, then it won't do anything else.  If you start at any other number, you only get to see that number - then nothing else is clickable.  This slide is made up of the base layer, with 9 layers displaying each of the nine events - nothing fancy at all - and it works fine if I publish it for viewing using the Articulate Mobile App.  Here is the link to the mobile-friendly published version - I had to uninstall this App to test on my iPad.  I'm hoping it's just my old iPad that's the issue!

If anyone has a minute to look at the source file, here it is:

I'm tempted to suggest to my client that it's not a big deal to have to download the app - you are prompted to do this if you haven't got it installed and it is free - but all I've read about on publishing for mobile indicates that I should be able to get this working - hence the callout for HELP!

Thank you in advance of someone helping me to solve this issue!!

Matthew - you were right!  It works fine now - of course, it's much better viewed using the app and I'll mention this to my client.  I would never have thought to check for things like grouping objects, although now I think about it, groups have got me into trouble before.

I haven't even got to testing with the client's LMS yet - hopefully there's no issues here.

Thank you so much for your prompt response.  Now I can get the working published version back to my client in Canada - he should be very happy!

Cheers

You know what, I was trying to think what would be different that could be causing this - but sometimes you get so close to a project you can't see it yourself.  I'm so glad I put up this discussion post.

This community is amazing!

Yes, I will definitely forward this on to Articulate Support to investigate.
