Please help. Storyline crashing?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but I'm in panic mode. In the preview, the slides look as they should. When you click on the slide, it's gone. I can't preview the course, scene, or slide. I can't publish it. It was saved before this happened, but it's happening in that copy as well. I have restarted my computer, I have attempted to save it and open it again (same problem). It is a long course, maybe there is too much for it to handle. But, is there anyway to get this back?? This is hours upon hours of work. I'm afraid to touch anything else so I don't make it worse. I've attached video of the problem. The red X I've never even seen before. AHH

Thanks so much for sending the screen recording--I can understand why you're in a panic! We can help you get this sorted out.
First, try opening a new Storyline file, and import the slides from the original file into the new file. Also, be sure you're working from your local hard drive.
If you're still having trouble after importing, send us a copy of the original .story file here, and our support engineers will take a closer look. Be sure to send me the case number so I can follow along, as well!
