Is anyone else having a problem with a drag/drop interaction in Storyline 2? It is impossible to customize the notecards and the interaction doesn't work right in Preview mode.
It's the Sorting Drag and Drop activity in SL2 found under Insert Slides>Templates. Is the only solution to place a text box that is the same color as the notecards in front of the text? It seems like it should be an editable field...
If you could attach your .story file, and talk specifically about what you want to do, somebody can probably give you some specific and useful pointers.
Otherwise, my answer is "No, I'm sure there are several solutions to the activity, some of which may be useful to you."
I'm having the same issue. I am starting with the temple for drag/drop interaction. I'd like to customize the notecards in the template, but it's not obvious how to do that. "Edit text" doesn't work. Any hints (pointers) to how I can figure out how to edit the notecards?
OK. Thanks. I think I figured it out. If I right-click hover, that does not remove the embedded template text. To get rid of that, I have to go to "Edit States" and edit the normal state to remove the embedded text. Then I am able to edit text as you describe.

Hello Jane, and welcome to Heroes!
Which type of drag and drop are you using, a graded option, or the freeform drag and drop?
you could share your file here too as well using the paperclip icon.

Thanks for any and all help.

Hover mouse over the text box and edit text
Right-click on the object and choose edit text
Edit text on layout master
