I have a basic Logitech pointer/clicker. I have added all the page up/page down triggers to my 120 slide presentation. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work, and sometimes it works for a while and then stops working.
Anyone have any ideas why this might be the case? It's driving me crazy.
The when user clicks a key needs the slide to have focus for it to work, often this loses focus for no reason. you can try adding a dataentry field to the bottom of the timeline on every slide (may work on the slide master)
There are two elements involved the player (the frame around the slide) and the slide, for a key trigger to work the slide must have focus, sometimes when you change slides the player takes focus. You can sometimes force the slide to take focus by adding a data entry field but it needs to be at the bottom of the timeline to take focus.
I've added the blank data entry field to the bottom of each timeline. It seems to be fixing the problem for the most part. I have 9 scenes- if I go from slide 1 of any scene to the end of the previous scene, it won't let me go back further.
Example - page up to go from 2.1 to 1.10 works. Page up from 1.10 doesn't go back to 1.9 if I just came from 2.1.

May not be able to help further, but I would check that all the slides are set to reset to initial state. On scene jump are you using a jump to scene trigger or jump to slide? I would try using jump to slide not sure either will help but it is what I would check

Sorry to hear of this inconsistency, Jason. I'd love to help you troubleshoot!
A few clarifying questions:
I'm excited to explore further!
I'm just on my work computer. Just saving everything to my local drive.
As for the hosting - it's not hosted anywhere. I published to CD and opened it on my computer.

What do you mean by focus?
And just enter a blank data entry field to the bottom of each slide?

Thanks for the help that you were able to give me. I think it's good enough that I can make it work now.
