Points on game with shapes

Mar 23, 2016

Hello everyone. I´m new using Storyline. I never wrote in the forum, but I learn with all you guys every day, and the community is very helpful to me.

Today I take encourage to bring a question to you... I'm trying to resolve an order from a customer since last week and I don´t know how to start.

I´m doing a game with survey questions. The idea is that when the user hits the right answer a bar (a rectangle shape) on the top is added (and it keeps there to the rest of the questions).

I found an example that have what I need, but it´s very complex to me to understand it. Points also are thinking to several players, and I just have one. And that is why I´m here... Any suggestion of tutorials or tips (or steps) to follow are welcome. I really need to do this, but I also want to learn who do it right. Thanks to all!

PS: Excuse my English, I´m writting from Uruguay and I have many years with no practice the language... :)

You can use the built in question templates, when the user gets a question right it shows the correct feedback on this layer you can change the state of a shape on the page. This will show your rectangle, to do so on the following questions also adjust 'a variable' to true. Then have the same rectangle on other pages that is set to show if 'a variable' is true.

Try copying this into google translate I hope this helps

Hi, Carolina -- Thanks for reaching out and for your sharing your file! Hopefully, lots of members here in the community will be able to chime in with design solutions for what you're hoping to accomplish! I also wanted to mention, you might want to reach out to the creator of the example you are using, Allison Nederveld, by using the 'Contact Me' link on her profile page to see if she has an ideas she can offer, and you are always welcome to post over in our Building Better Courses forum, as well. :)
