I have a course that I've built in Storyline 3 that looks great when running with Flash, but when I test the HTML5 output (Microsoft Edge, for example) the video quality is very poor.
Is it images or video, or both? I'd start by looking at the best practices here. You also mentioned the Edge browser specifically - how does it appear in browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, etc.? Could you share an example comparing the Flash and HTML5? We've seen some blurriness in Chrome's HTML5 output that our team is looking into, so I'd be curious to know how that compares to what you're seeing in Edge.
Brendan - if you are still experiencing this issue beyond the steps explained in the link that Ashley provided, I have found a "backdoor" way to overwrite the compressed files with the original, high-res files by overwriting them right in the story_content folder. You just need to figure out which image is which (SL names them with gibberish), bring in the original but with the same name as the compressed version, and it will ask if you want to replace the file with the new file. Do this with the videos too, and they come in super crisp and not compressed. Then, zip all of the folders manually and upload that to your LMS.
Glad that link helped Taylor, and thanks for sharing that additional method on how to edit it in the published output. Although it's not something I can help with, it's always good to have other options.

Taylor I just posted the very same question. MP4 quality is very blurry in html5 only.
I will be looking at your replies!

I have solved the issue by reformatting the video to be the exact size as the slide. Thank you for sending me the best practices link.
