Pop-up layer only shows on first click
Aug 17, 2016
How do I get the Incorrect layer to pop up every time a wrong answer is clicked?
Here's what's happening now: The first time I select a wrong answer, the Incorrect layer pops up, but NOT for subsequent wrong answers—UNLESS I select the correct answer first (Correct layer pops up), THEN I select another wrong answer, the Incorrect layer will pop up one more time.
On the off-chance the user selects six incorrect answers in a row before finding the correct answer, I want the Incorrect layer to pop up EVERY time. These are pretty simple layers and triggers. Is the animation messing it up?
This is not a scored test; it is just a review exercise. Story file attached. Thanks!

Hi Kendra
add a trigger to the incorrect layer to 'hide layer when timeline ends'
YES! That did it. Thanks, Wendy. I knew it had to be something simple but I just couldn't figure it out. I have a dozen more slides just like this one to build, so you've really saved me some headaches down the road.
Glad it was an easy fix for you Kendra...if you find the timeline on the layer is too long just shorten it. Good luck with your project!
