When copying text from one slide to another, one must select the USE DESTINATION formatting to retain the style from the source slide, Using SOURCE formatting bring in as plain ASCII. Functions backwards?
When I'm copying and pasting from slide to slide - it seems to default to keeping the source formatting, and I don't see the standard options for which I'd choose to keep automatically - but I do see them when right clicking on the info. It seems to apply the right formatting based on what I choose.
This occurred when I was editing slides used in a lightbox glossary scene. It was very repeatable.
I then resized my project from 4:3 to 16:9. When editing slides at this point, the use of keeping SOURCE formatting appeared to work fine. I will try to recreate what I did before as I have three other similar prtojects and let you know if it reoccurs.
Thanks Thomas, and please keep us posted on what you're able to find when checking the slide size. If you'd like to share a few sample slides here where you have the problem, I'm also happy to test on your files.

Hi Thomas,
Are you working in SL1 or SL 2?

Can you also confirm you're working on local project files?
I apologize for not designating version. SL2.
