Poster Frames no longer working on videos since updating to V3.39.21985.0 May 04, 2020 By Rob Shaw I just updated to the latest version (V3.39.21985.0)last Friday and poster frames are no longer working on videos. This is both from file, or auto-generated from the video. I've got about 7-8 videos in my project and the frame is missing from all of them when published but is present in the editor. To test this, I made a new project, imported a random MP4 and then added a poster frame from an external file and had the same result.

Rob Shaw Author over 3 years ago05/04/20 at 7:51 pm (UTC) I tried a different PC (that hasn't had Storyline installed before) and installed Storyline 360 (V3.39.21985.0) from scratch and it has the same issue. Insert a video from file. Add a 'poster frame from file'. Set the video to 'play when clicked'. Add video controls below video. Preview and the poster frame isn't shown.
Rob Shaw Author over 3 years ago05/05/20 at 9:16 am (UTC) So, I downgraded to 3.37.21614.0 (March 3, 2020) and Poster Frames are back again. I tested by creating a new project, and the same steps as listed above. Poster Frames were also back on the project I'd been working on where I first noticed it.
