Hey guys! I'm currently working on an eLearning that will be presented to the public, but we don't have an LMS or a website where we can host the course. Does anyone have any recommendations for a site that will host the source files and allow public access?
It all depends on what you're looking for - how many learners you intend to be hosting, active users per month etc. If you're only going small to start with, it can be just as easy to get a cheap hosting option and do it yourself - or have someone with the know how to set it up for you.
Without this information you might find yourself falling well outside of the bell curve on what is 'reasonable'.
I administer my employer's servers and eLearning system - if you want to have a chat about requirements etc, feel free to hit me up.
Hi, Jacqueline -- I see that you are getting some great responses here, but I thought I might share this blog post on 5 Easy Ways to Share E-Learning Courses, as well. Hope that helps! :)
Thanks everyone for your responses. To give a little background, I am developing this course for an Adult Learning Class I am currently taking in my Master's program. We are actually posting this eLearning on HASTAC for public review. I'm going to look into the Dropbox and Amazon options.
