Potential Issues with different versions of IE

Nov 06, 2016

Hi,

We have been having some issues with inconsistent running of the same storyline2 course across different (but same brand) lap tops. The only thing that we can find that might be the issue is different versions of IE. Has anyone had any issues with running courses with the attached version of IE

Leslie,

Thanks for your response.

We are finding the same problem regardless of how we publish either for LMS or browser. What is happening is courses will open and start on some lap tops and not even open on others. The only difference seems to be the browser version and our service desk were wondering if a slight differences in IE version would make a difference.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to share the .story file, much of the content is confidential or commercially sensitive.

Thanks

Hi John! I understand and thank you for the update.

Do all of the users have Flash enabled? The HTML5 content is not supported in IE and perhaps that's what some of your users are running into.

Leslie,

Happy to work via email. Flash was the first thing I asked our service desk to check and all the laptops have the latest version loaded.

Thanks
