PowerPoint + Presenter content incomplete import into Storyline 1
Mar 18, 2015
Hello Heroes,
I have recently experience an issue while trying to import a project that was originally developed with Presenter '09 (along with quiz maker). The issue is that while importing the .pptx file, roughly half of the content or slides (usually the former) does not get imported into Storyline. The reason for doing this, is that I want to re-publish an eLearning project with Storyline to take advantage of its compatibility with mobile devices.
The result of importing the content also seems to changed at each attempt; half of the slides are missing but in some instances the slide master would also not be included. The import process also takes a long time 5 - 15 minutes. Previous importing of PowerPoint content without an affiliation with Presenter, would perfectly.
The directory that the .pptx file is kept also has the corresponding .ppta file present. The .pptx file is roughly 3 MB, the .ppta files is roughly 50 MB. There are about 50 slides in the project.
Any help on this subject would be appreciated!

Hi Spencer,
Sorry to hear about the odd behavior with importing your files. I did want to confirm that you're working on local project files as described here, and that you're following these directions for importing the content.
If you're still having difficulty, could you share the Presenter package with us?
Hi Ashley,
Thank you for the reply. I can confirm that it is a local project file, and I have followed the importing instructions correctly. I know people openly share content in these discussions, but is possible to share the presenter package in a private fashion?
Thank you, very much, for your reply!
Spencer
Hi Spencer,
