PPT to .story format

Jan 13, 2014

Hi,

When i convert PPT to .story format

the basic structure of the PPT gets distorted. Font and size gets changed

and the arrangement of the content also gets changed.

How can I avoid such mistakes/faults.

Please help.

I've done that but I don't see the answer to my question. In Storyline (converted from PowerPoint), the last bullet is almost always smaller than the rest. If I switch a bulleted list to a numbered list, the last number is in a smaller font than the other numbers. The size of the words to the right of the bullet are fine. What is going on and how do I fix this?

Hi Laura,

If you add bullets or numbering to a list of text and adjust the font size, you may find that the last bullet/number is bigger or smaller than the rest.

This is a known issue. Here's how to correct it:

  1. Triple-click the last bullet or numbered item to select the entire line of text. (There's a hidden character at the end of the line that you need to select. Dragging your mouse to select the text doesn't always capture that hidden character.)
  2. With the entire line of text selected, you should see that the font size selector is blank. Reset the font size for this line of text to match the rest of your list.
