I have been watching and practicing all the tutorials (on #12 right now about drag and drop interactions) and I'm very excited to learn Storyline! My question is, I am trying to recreate the drag and drop interaction about the emergency preparedness kit. No matter how many times I watch, then redo my hotspot to have the objects drop into the middle of the box, it will NOT tile inside of the box. It keeps making a vertical line with the answer choices. (If anyone is familiar with this tutorial...) PLEASE advise :D Thanks!
Yes! That's what's frustrating me. I even deleted my hotspot and went back, watched again, then did it again. I don't understand why it isn't working. Thank you for replying so quickly!
Also, I went ahead and even changed the settings of the drag and drop options to "snap to center" to see if THAT option would work, and it did! Then I changed it back to "tile" and nope...it put them in a vertical line again.

Hi Tracy
I've just taken a look at the practice file.
Have you set the D & Drop options to tile? See image below

Have you tried making your target wider?
Walt's right Tracy the hotspot shape in the example is not a square but a rectangle which is wider than it is higher, forcing the lineup that happens.
Try changing your dimensions of the hotspot as per the image below
Actually I did the OPPOSITE...I made it smaller thinking that would help it snap to the inside of the box. I will go back and try that...thank you!
That worked! Thank you guys :)
Yay!!
