Hello there Johnny! You will find the steps to change the default color of your captions in this guide on how to customize your screen recording captions (Accent 1 is the default fill color for shapes and captions). Unfortunately you won't be able to set up a default shadow or stroke. What I would suggest here is to customize the first callout manually, then use format painter to apply the customization to the rest of the callouts.
Thank you for the clear answer, which trigger another question. With the use of format painter, styling of text is removed e.g. bold text is changed to plain. Do you know if there is a way to avoid that?
Hi Johnny, unfortunately there isn't a way to avoid that. The 'Format Painter' applies the style of the first word in the caption. However I can see how that feature would make your life easier! Can you please share your perspective with our product development team? Thanks for being a part of the community!

Hi Alyssa
Thank you for the clear answer, which trigger another question. With the use of format painter, styling of text is removed e.g. bold text is changed to plain. Do you know if there is a way to avoid that?
Many thanks in advance.
