Prev/Next buttons appear when revisiting slide

Jun 29, 2016

Hi everyone,

I am working on a course where the prev/next/submit buttons are disabled on every slide because we have custom ones. However, there is an issue with one drag-and-drop question slide. If the user gets it incorrect 2 times, they are sent back to the previous slide. When they return to the question slide, the prev/next buttons are there. I'm aware of this issue in quiz review, but I'm confused because I don't believe this is a quiz review situation, and because we have similar drag-and-drop slides that don't have the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Could it possibly be related to the quiz review issue, and if so, do you know how I can resolve it?

Thanks!

I'm having this problem again, and I don't think I was ever able to find a solution last time. This time I tried making a custom Submit button. Prev/Next still appears when the slide is revisited, which is ok, but the custom Submit button does not work when the slide is revisited, which is NOT ok. Do you have any advice?

Hi Adrienne,

If a user is revisiting a question slide, they may be in review mode or it's calculating that it's already been submitted and therefore the submit button is disabled so they can't change the question/answer by mistake. You may want to share the custom set up you've got here so that folks in the community can weigh in on your ideas.
