Prev Next Buttons for previously viewed slides
Dec 01, 2015
Hi everyone,
I removed the default Prev and Next buttons and created my own. I also added a trigger to only make them visible once the timeline ends. I also created several variables 20+ to monitor each slide. I did this for the users who click on Prev to visit a previous slide so they will not have to wait for the timeline to end again. The variables check to see if it's a previously viewed slide and if so, then show the Prev and Next buttons, if not then wait until the timeline to end before showing the Prev and Next buttons. Is there a more efficient way to do this.

Hi Garfield!
Sounds like you are doing good work.
Not sure if anyone in the community has a more effective way of doing so, but it seems like you're doing the right thing. Variables would be the ticket in this case.
Thanks for the reply. I was hoping Storyline would have added arrays to its variable types, that way I can just keep track of the slides visited in one array as oppose to 20+ variables but maybe that will be added next build.
Thanks Leslie
