Sorry for my inarticulate end of the work week typing. What I'm wondering is if there's a way to turn off the Next button until the timeline is finished so that folks can't just skip through the slides without listening to the audio. Is this possible?
It would be great just to have the ability of placing an "invisible shape" over the Timeline at controllable points, (and Prev/Next) to stop people doing this.

Yup. Or adding a checkbox option in the player setup that did the same effect.

The way to do this is use custom Next button, rather then the built-in ones, and just make it appear at the end of the audio.

Actually, you rise an interesting side issue. I've seen some weird playback behavior using the scrubbing bar. sometimes, the slide gets out of sync.
Need to capture that for a bug report and a feature request (i.e., an option to lock the player scrub bar down so learner can see it but not use it).
