preventing user from advancing until all interaction is complete

Jun 10, 2014

I used variables to prevent my user from advancing to the next slide until they have viewed all if the required content. Now I want to place a message that is tied to the "next" button that tells the user they cannot advance until the have completed the current screen. So basically, if the user attempts to click next without completing all of the content, I want that message to appear. Can someone help me figure out how to do this?

Here is one option that uses the Visited state of three buttons to determine if all items on a slide have been viewed. If all three buttons are in Visited state, then clicking the Next button jumps to the next slide. If one of the three buttons is not in Visited state, then an Incomplete layer is displayed. Hope that helps.
