I've been working with SL for a while now and an issue I keep running into is that when I align all my objects, text boxes etc. needly in my "working" screen, the moment I preview my slide all of the alignment is gone. This is very frustrating and I'm not sure how to fix it. Am I missing a setting or something?
In addition to Bruce's suggestion of zoom being set to 100%, you'll also want to check your DPI and ensure it's set to 96 DPI. If set to something else such as 120 DPI, you may experience:
Elements of the application are misplaced or distorted.
Objects are misplaced or distorted when previewed or published.

When you are working, do you have your screen set at Zoom = 100%?
This is the only view that gives a true representation of hat will be produced.
