I have published a project to our internal website and when playing, am encountering a lot of issues (Using IE 11), including missing graphics and background movies, zoom-ins out of focus, and slow slide loading. I have published the Web version and again, when previewing on my computer everything looks fine; not so from the website. I'm losing my cool! Can anyone help?
Hi Leslie! I am publishing to a local folder (created automatically when I installed the Articulate Storyline software) and uploading the entire folder from there to the Intranet site. I am not going through Tempshare, which I'm guessing is an Articulate online folder?
I can provide you with the URL for our website, but you will not be able to access it there, as it requires a user login to the University network. Is there another way I can share it with you? I can attach the published folder here, but again, it works fine locally, it's only on the website that I have problems. Our IT director can't understand it either...
Yes, feel free to share the file so that I can take a look. I simply mentioned Tempshare as a comparison tool to determine if the issue lies within the course or the server. I'll take a look when you upload.
Leslie, this is the content of the original folder; which one of these files would it be? I don't see anything with a .story extension in here or either of the other two sub-folders, mobile or story_content. Does this indicate that the project is not publishing correctly?
The project file will not be in the published output. I'm looking for the .story file that you used to create this output prior to publishing. When you publish, zipping the contents from the Publish Successful dialog box is recommended, so I'm not sure wha the issue is. Which is why I was hoping to take a peek and try it myself.
Yes, published for web as shared here. Attaching my zipped file to see if it works better for you as well in your environment. If so, I advise following the directions in the link and zipping from the publish successful window :)

Hi Cindy!
Do you experience the same issues if you upload the content to Tempshare to view or is the issue limited to your internal website?
If you are able to replicate, please share your .story file so that we can take a look.

Here you go! Thanks very much for any help you can provide. :-)
Hi Cindy!
I get an error when trying to upload this file. Could you share the .story file?

Sorry, Leslie. I guess by now you've realized that you're working with a trainer, not a techie! :-) Let's try again!
No worries at all Cindy :)
Okay, so let me know if you have any difficulties with this file:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/tempshare-stage.storyline.articulate.com/sto_1atc7umncv1s14dk1j599qvsuo9/story.html
If not, I'd follow up with your server maintenance team.
Leslie,
That file works just fine when I run it. Did you publish it in the Web format? Can I use this link in a PowerPoint or an email?
I forwarded this to our Network team and will see what they say. Thank you again for your help.
