Preview quiz score correct, html5 export wrong

Jun 05, 2015

I encountered a strange problem and can't seem to fix it.

When exporting a storyline 2 project with html5 output the quiz results page doesn't calculate right, even when evaluating the answers it shows the given answer as correct but doesnt count it as correct and displays the wrong answer message.

in any other output it works correctly as in the preview.

It would in my case be nice to have html5 support because it's a mobile course.

does anyone have a solution or encountered this strange behavior themselves?

thanks for any advice

Hi Fernand!

How are you publishing and sharing the content?

If you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive (or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive), you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features to fail. To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. See this article for details.

Do you experience the same behavior if you test the content in SCORM Cloud?

Hi, looks like i got it to work after all. While testing i changed the custom button to the standard submit button and all of a sudden it worked. so i changed the custom "next" buttons to not continue to the next slide and now the feedback slide appeared and the score submitted as its supposed to. It was a bit confussing because the preview and flash versions always worked as exprected only the html5 version needed the standard way of submitting scores.

in the end it was an error of the user (me) and not a 'bug'

thanks
