Preview Slide is super slow except for the audio track

STL 360 on Windows 10

Recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I have noticed Preview Slide function is all out of whack. The animations are all the standard .75 but as the slide plays, the animations sloooooooow down. Yet the audio is fine...?

Is it related to Windows 10? Anyone have similar issues?

Example attached. The slide itself is 16.56 seconds and yet the Preview of the slide lasts 38 seconds. I have attached the STL file and an MP4 of me recording the Preview.

Internet speed clocks in at 336.4 Mbps.

I have to publish the entire project just to check timing on a single slide! It also happens on Preview Scene and Preview Project.

I am open to any and all suggestions!

Hi Katie,

Thanks for letting me know that you are on the latest version.

I am not seeing the same issue when I take a look at your file preview.

We do, however, have an issue reported regarding slow and choppy previews in the latest update. We are currently looking into this and I've attached this conversation as we track user impact and so that we can share any updates with you here. If this is slowing you down, you can roll back to the previous release.

Hi Katie, We've had difficulty replicating the slow preview in the latest build -- we're now on Storyline 360 July 23, 2019 (Build 3.30.19518.0)

If you haven't updated to the latest build yet, I'd like you to try that. If you are still seeing the issue, please reply here and we'd be happy to take another look and continue troubleshooting with you!

Hi all!

Good news! We just shipped out Update 31 (Build 3.31.19951.0) for Storyline 360 this morning. This update solved the issue where Preview mode was slow or choppy.

To update, head over to your Articulate 360 desktop app. You will see an "update" button near Storyline 360. Press that, and you will good to go.
