I really like Storyline, BUT I HATE that they took away the abiltiy to preview a certain amount of slides at a time. If my scene is 10 slides and I only need to see how the last three flow, I don't want to look at the first seven slides over and over. Sorry but you failedo n this one Articulate. :(
I wish this function existed too, but I will usually temporarily put those few slides in a separate scene if I know I'll be testing them over and over so I don't have to view the whole thing.
Please feel free to make a formal feature request if you'd like to see a specific set of preview slides in a future build. Our dev team sees every single one that comes through. Thanks for your input!
Just thought I'd bump this as I don't know if it's been mentioned again recently, but it would be really, really useful to be able to select which slides you want to preview. Yes I know you can put them into a separate scene but that's a pain. Anyway I have put in a feature request.
I've put in a feature request too, because, three years after the original post, this is still an annoying "feature" in Storyline. It's good to learn that there is a work-around, but it would be really appreciated if I could just select the slides I want to preview.
Update: I tried copying the slides I needed to preview into another scene, but the links from my slides to lightbox slides no longer work, so this work-around didn't help me at all. C'mon, Articulate, come through for us and add this feature!

+1 for Matthew's idea. Simply port those slides into a new scene and preview. It doesn't even take 10 secs.
