I created a trigger for the learner to jump to the previous slide when the user clicks previous. However, the previous function does not work. What am I doing wrong?
"Previous" does notmean "the slide that comes before this one if you're following a set path." It means "whatever slide you were on before you came to this slide." That might be "the slide that comes before this one" in a strictly linear course. But it could also mean just about any other slide if the navigation is unrestricted and/or includes branching.
I can't tell from your description exactly how your trigger is failing, but here are some other things to keep in mind:
Wherever you start, the "go previous" trigger won't work, because you weren't anywhere before the first slide you encountered.
If you want the PREV button (or other button) to always return to a given slide (i.e., keep slides in a specified order), then you have to adjust the trigger to jump to that specific slide. For example, the PREV trigger slide 3 would jump to slide 2, and the trigger on slide 2 would jump to slide 1.
