I am a beginner on Storyline. I've already created some contents but with this one I encounter a new issue: when I preview the entire project or a scene, the previous button doesn't work.
The trigger is very simple "Previous button - Jump to slide X when the user clicks or or swipes previous". The next button is set up the same way and works very well. I don't understand how to fix it. I attached some images to facilitate what I am saying.
I hope that picture of the Next button is on the first slide, because Previous is disabled. If that's not the problem, delete the previous trigger, and re-create it. I just found a trigger that looked perfectly good, but was corrupted. Deleting and creating it solved the problem.
Click on the player icon on the right side of the ribbon. In the player, click Menu. Towards the bottom in the left pane there is a gear icon. Click it, and you should see the option to set navigation to Free, Restricted, or Locked. Restricted will allow you to also keep the Next/Prev buttons from working. That might be it.
Otherwise, if you can attach your .story file here, someone can take a look at it.
