Is there a way to only let the student go back one page in a lesson? I do not want to be able to go all the way back through the course which will allow someone else to take it.
Yes. The "prev" button has a default trigger attached to it (specifically, a trigger to go to the previously-visited slide). You can replace this trigger with whatever you want. With a couple triggers on every slide's "Prev" button, plus an extra trigger before every "Jump to Next Slide" trigger, you could check to make sure the learner hasn't already used the "Prev" button since the last time the slide advanced.
If you need additional guidance, please be more specific about how you want the mechanic to work (including: is there a Menu the learner can use to skip around?)
You'll also want to make sure that, in Player Properties, you set "On Restart: Always Resume", so someone doesn't just close the window and reopen it at the beginning.
