I am quite new in the community as we just get a storyline 2 licenses recently to develop our e-learning portal. My question is the following; can I include a prezi presentation into my articulate story? I tried but didn't get it right. Anybody got an idea?
You might be able to by clicking Insert > Web object. You will have to try it. I don't think it will work on an iPad or Android device as I think they are still Flash based (not sure if that is still the case).
Thank you David for your fast reply. I will try tomorrow and see if it is working. I doubt that articulate can read the proprietary prezi file like it does with a added video. I will let you know.
I'm not incredibly familiar with Prezi, but I did find an older thread on how to insert an offline Prezi into Storyline (or Presenter) that may help you and offer some suggestions on what to try out. Also, a few users here discuss turning it into a video or inserting it as a web object.
Thank you so much for your very useful answer. I can see I am not the only one who had this request. I've found a tutorial on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6P3NAB7cTU) and apparently it works for me after I've deleted the .exe file and the .app folder and insert the prezi offline presentation as a web object into storyline 2. Turning it into a video was not an option for me as we loose the interactivity of prezi.
I have now to write a SOP because in my German company everything is under QA :-( .
Georges - I've been struggling with this all week... when you embedded the prezi offline file - was it the file with the .pez extension? Also, when you previewed it, did you have to launch it within an LMS or did it work for you when you reviewed within Articulate?
I confirm what Ashley wrote. When I've included prezi offline file as web object, I had no success in preview. I published my story as CD and then it was working. I haven't try to put it in our LMS yet as my project was just to try prezi and articulate. Did you have a look on the link to a tutorial I gave previously. I strictly followed it and I had some success.
Hello Georges - thanks for your YouTube tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6P3NAB7cTU . Is it possible to obtain the index.html file? The link is non-operative. Best regards, thanks again!
Thanks Ashley - Georges' Youtube link is still up and has clear instructions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6P3NAB7cTU He says you need an index.html file to direct Storyline to the web object. This must be pretty easy for someone who knows what they're doing with code - I wonder if anyone in the forums might know what something like this would be. If I knew the code, I could create the .html file using a html editor.

Thank you again. The articulate community rocks.

Thanks Georges for the update and glad that set up will work for you. Best of luck with your QA team. ;-)

Hi Darlene,
Web objects won't work in the preview of a course, so you'll want to publish and place within the intended environment to properly test.

Hi Steve,
I'm not certain that Georges is still subscribed, but you could message him using the contact me button on his profile.

I definitely do not know what I'm doing with code - so I'll gracefully bow out of this one. ;-)
