I have created the "Graded Results Slide" and given the user the ability to print their results upon completion. I published, and then when I open the published file from my computer, complete the Learning and click to Print, a blank window opens up and nothing shows up to print. Is there a step I am missing?
How can I have all of the questions and answers appear on a page to print?
Thanks Sheena, but I have already done that (which is why I have a Print Results button, it just doesn't work - a blank IE window opens when I click it). Any other ideas?
Are you testing the published output locally? That could be why it's not working as expected, as testing it locally can cause security and browser restrictions to not display the items like that. You'll want to look at uploading it to the intended environment to properly test. This article gives a bit more information about that in addition to some testing platforms.
We've been having an issue where I do the quiz and if I print results right away all the questions and answers appear on the page. But if I come out of it and go back in when I click print results only the score at the top appears. You can find a screenshot of this attached.
Are you closing the browser window and then resuming the course where you left off, or do you return earlier in the course? If so, we've seen that happen and reported it to our QA team that if you resume on the results slide and try to print again the answers are missing. I'll include this forum discussion in the report filed with our team so that I can update you here once there is additional information to share.
I think the bug happens when I do both close the course and go back in and also when I go back a slide and then try to print again. It's not so much of an issue as we have the review quiz option for our learners so they can still have a look where they went wrong. Thanks for your help and the quick reply!
Thanks for that additional information and it does sound like it matches at least a portion of the bug report I mentioned. So I did include this thread in the report filed with our team so that I can share any updates with you here once we have additional information but unfortunately I'm unable to offer a time frame in regards to that.
I have a Storyline 2 course that I have published for LMS and uploaded to the LMS (Cornerstone). The Print Results page is completely blank in Internet Explorer (IE 11), but it functions normally in Chrome. Therefore, I suspect there is an issue between Storyline and IE 11, not an issue with the course or the LMS.
Have you tested it outside your LMS to see if it'll print normally in IE11? That would help isolate the issue further to the LMS and IE11. You could use a site such as SCORM Cloud to test there as it's an industry standard for LMS Testing.
Thanks Ashley. I tested in SCORM Cloud as you suggested, and the Print Results page did open in Internet Explorer. I still don't understand why it worked in Cornerstone in Chrome but not IE, but I'll open a case with Cornerstone.
Glad to hear that worked for you and thanks for that update. If you do hear back from cornerstone, please feel free to share here in case others run into the same type of issue.

Hi Ashley,
Do you have any updates or timescales on the issue above?
Nothing new yet, Issa. This is issue is still open with our QA team, and we’ll be sure to let you know any further information we have to share as soon as we can!
I'm having a similar issue where the Print Results page comes up blank in Coursemill in IE 11. I've also tried in Chrome outside of the LMS and also get a blank page. (I also have popup blockers disabled.) The only time the Print Results page works correctly is when I publish to CD. Any suggestions?
Hello Greg - Have you tested the content in SCORM Cloud as recommended by Ashley above? That will help identify if the issue lies within the project file or the LMS.

Hi Kennedy,
Please look at the attached screenshot. You need to check allow user to print results.

Hi Kennedy and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
There are a few reasons why the print results feature may not work. This article describes each reason and how to solve it.

Thanks Ashley and Leslie, those are both very helpful answers!

Hi Leslie,
Yes, it did work in SCORM Cloud for both IE and Chrome.
Hmmm, in that case you may wish to follow up with your LMS team. Sounds like it may not be the project file/software if you are unable to replicate.
Thanks! I'll try that.
