Been struggling to get a printable certificate from the results slide. Among other issues, when I click Print Results, enter my name in the popup and click OK, nothing happens. The results should display on a new tab, I believe, but that does not appear. Ideas?
Hi Rick - What browser are you using? Some older browsers don't display the results properly and even on newer browsers you may run into issues if your security settings do not allow the program to open a new tab.
One thing to consider is whether or not you are previewing the project in its intended environment. If you are publishing for web, then I highly recommend testing it using Articulate's Tempshare service at this link.
Rick - If you can share your work, some folks might be able to test it for you and figure out what's up. I sounds like you do a pretty good job of testing your projects, so it might be a Windows 8 issue. I'm running Windows 8.1, so I'll be curious to see how this gets resolved.
I'm also running Windows 8.1 and have IE 11 installed so I gave this a shot. This is a super basic quiz and was something I had been doing some other testing on - so ignore it's lack of pizazz. I tested it in Chrome and then IE11. In Chrome it all worked as expected and in IE11 I did get a message about allowing the pop up window - once I allowed that it opened the print results page. Can you test out that version and let me know how it behaves for you.
I think the issue was that I was using a USB drive when I should have been working off of my desktop all along.
Still have had no luck getting a certificate that can be printed out and look like a certificate. The process of altering the report.html file does not work, that is, nothing appears in the separate tab. Other solutions squeeze the text and certificate image on the printout. And, some of the advice is just beyond my coding skills. I'll keep plugging away at it and maybe come up with something. Never give up.
I said don't judge me by my test making abilities! Shockingly enough, I used to be a teacher so I do know how to write a test - but that example was more just to be fast with testing.
Ah yes, the USB drive - you will want to be sure you work locally while in your file and then once published place it within the intended environment for proper testing. Since the creation of a certificate is not something we officially support - I'll have to defer to the community on that one and you may want to post for assistance in the "definitive" thread on how to create a certificate.

IE 11 in Windows 8. Works okay on my other machine, running IE 11 on windows 7.
I use Tempshare often. I'll try that with my Win 8 machine.
Thanks Robert!
