Printing a slide
Feb 13, 2017
Storyline 2 query : I'm trying to give the user the option to print a slide (in this case a quiz results slide, but I don't want the Results table, just a print copy of what they see on the screen). I also need this to work through HTML5 (as it needs to be accessibility-compliant).
I've set it up to execute a Javascript window.print() command, which works, but the layout is skewed (big gap of white on the left, contents of slide shown accurately but on right of page) - see PDF attachment (it looks even worse in portrait than it does in landscape).
I've had a look for other threads on this, such as this one, but don't seem to have an answer as yet. Anyone got any suggestions?

Hey there Duncan,
Although we do not support Javascript coding, I know there are quite a few Java-savvy folks in the forums that will be able to help you troubleshoot this issue! :)
I don't really mind if it isn't Javascript - if there's some way of having Articulate print a version of the screen off natively, that would work too... :)
Hey Duncan, Storyline doesn't have a native print screen function, so it looks like you'll want to go the Javascript route here. :)
