Printing out slides
Sep 10, 2012
Hello Heroes:
Is there a way to print a slide the way its viewed from the preview window other than having it print to a Microsoft Word file? Its only showing up as a screen shot of the slide. It doesn't show the actual text in its entirety.
I work at a book publishing company and they need to Edit the layout of the text. But I can't print out the layouts because my text is in a scroll box, and it won't show the entire paragraph unless I print it out multiple times with the scroll bar in varying positions to get all the text.
What would you suggest? They don't have a copy of Storyline on their computers. Is there a viewer program they can use (like Adobe .pdf reader compared to the full Adobe .pdf creator) where they could just view the slides and not publish them?
Not sure at this point how to work our Editorial department into the project. Any one else come across this problem?

You can export for translation which includes all the text, and have that alongside a publish to word.
I can print screen the project, paste it into a picture editor and cut out the text the way its laid out then print it from Microsoft Word. But that's just a lot of work with a large file. That's my only option at this point it seems, however.
Oh, didn't realize I could. Is that just under publish?
No its under the file menu translation, its not the prettiest file but we use it for SME's to make changes and the reimport into Storyline
Cool, thanks for your input. I'll check it out.
