I am getting a very slow playback of a screen recording. I recorded a video that I was playing on my desktop. I tried to insert it, click new to record it, and I still get a slow playback (with no audio). I'm saving it a single video on slide. Am I missing a setting? Thanks,
If you're recording an actual video such as a movie, the results will vary due to the frame rate of the movie potentially being different than Storyline's recording frame rate. As for not hearing any audio, you'll want to make sure that you have the speakers box selected in the properties area so that it will record your system sounds. Note: If you have multiple audio devices, you'll need to play with it a bit to find which one is sending the sound. Here's a tutorial on screen recording in case you're interested.
Is there a way to adjust the recording frame rate from Storyline in case that's the problem?
What's odd, is on my first attempt, the portion I recorded played back fine. But I deleted and re-recorded because I wanted to capture more of the original video. After that, it's playing back slowly.

Hi thanks, I'll check it out. It's a long video, but I exited after 2 minutes (pressing escape).
