Problem opening Template in PowerPoint Jul 20, 2013 By Jon Powell Hi, I have saved a template from storyline using these instructions http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/saving-your-player-or-switching-to-a-different-one.aspx When I try to open it in PowerPoint using the Articulate tab Player Templates I get an error saying Error: This file does not appear to be a player template. Any ideas on how to resolve this would be gratefully received Thanks Jon

It sounds like you are attempting to save out a Player Template from Storyline and open that Player Template from within Articulate Presenter/PowerPoint. Unfortunately, Player Templates cannot be exchanged between our two products. Presenter Templates may only be shared across installations of Presenter, and Storyline Templates may only be shared across installations of Storyline. It sounds like you are attempting to save out a Player Template from Storyline and open that Player Template from within Articulate Presenter/PowerPoint.
Unfortunately, Player Templates cannot be exchanged between our two products. Presenter Templates may only be shared across installations of Presenter, and Storyline Templates may only be shared across installations of Storyline.
