Problem sharing modules over email
Mar 12, 2013
Hello all,
In the past couple days, I've run into a problem sharing published modules over email. The modules publish just fine, but when I email them to colleagues and they try to un-zip the folders, they're getting an error message that tells them "File 'Thumbnail' is password protected." There are no password protected files in any of my modules, and when I look at the 'thumbnail' image in the published and zipped folder in windows on my machine, it's not showing as having a password on it.
The image seems to be a jpeg screen shot of the first screen of the module. The work-around I've been using has been to publish the files, and then remove the offending image before emailing to colleagues. Once I do this, they no longer get the error message. This doesn't seem to impact the playing of the module, but it's a pain in the neck. Oh, and it just started yesterday. Until yesterday, I've been able to email modules with no problems at all.
Anyone have any idea what's going on here?
Thanks,

Hey Chris!
I don't think I've ever run into anything like that before. Have you tried to re-publish the course to LMS to see if that resolves it? Any chance you'd be able to share the file here or privately so we can try to re-create the issue?
Thanks, Chris
