Hi, Please can someone help me. Previously i could click on the "Story" file icon, in the published folder, and the project would play. Now, it just shows a scrolling/loading sign. The only way I can play a project at the moment is to play the story_htlm5 file.
I am using ESET NOD32 antivirus, and have tried disabling this, and it has no effect on anything - so it is obviously nothing to do with my antivirus.
I'd be most grateful if someone could shed some light on this.
Thanks for answering my question. However, opening the file that way, makes no difference. I normally work with Storyline 2, but have downloaded a trial version of Storyline 1, just to do a client's work. Interestingly enough, all of my Storyline 2 projects still play in the normal way. so perhaps it is just something I will have to live with, for this short duration, while working with Storyline 1?
Hi Kathy! I'm not sure how the content you are viewing is published or if the format is still zipped. We recommend viewing the content in the published environment and not from a local file though as it could be a security issue of some type.

if you right click on the story icon and say 'open with' and choose your browser that way does it work?
