I am using Storyline 360. I developed a big quiz. Now there is a problem with viewing it on Edge. (see enclosed image). Can anyone tell me, how I shall publish the course running it without troubles on Edge, Chrome IE?
Please check your version of Edge if it's already the latest. According to the Storyline 360: Systems Requirements (link here), you should be able to view your published course in a browser such as:
with HTLM5: Internet Explorer 10 or later, Microsoft Edge (latest version), Google Chrome (latest version), Firefox (latest version)
and
with Flash: Internet Explorer 8 or later, Microsoft Edge (latest version), Google Chrome (latest version), Firefox (latest version)
However, I've seen from the web that Adobe Flash content was blocked in Microsoft Edge. You may also refer to this article about unblocking Flash.
Hi Karin, thanks for sharing your file. I gave it a test in Microsoft Edge, and I saw the same thing. You can view a recording of my testing here.
I'd like our Support Engineers to weigh in, so I'm going to share your file with my team. They'll test it again and reach out to you as soon as they have more to share. Keep an eye out for an email from us!
I had a look into Karin's case, and it looks like she found an errant hyphen in a few of her slides that was accidentally imported from Excel. Removing the hyphen solved it--props to Karin for finding the needle in the haystack!
What exactly is happening in your file? If you can share some more details and a few screenshots of the issue, I'm happy to help you sort this out!
The primary issue is that elements like arrows or highlight boxes
(rectangles) that are supposed to animate in with audio either do not
display at all or animate in and stop at the wrong location on the screen. I
had a support ticket before but none of the recommendations solved the
issue. I sent my source file to support and some issues didn't appear when
they published, but others were still there.
I saw the post that Edge is no longer supported with Storyline 2 and have
passed that along to my client as well.

Hi again Karin. 🙂
I see you're already working with my teammate, Miker, so I've shared my screen recording with him, as well. He'll reach out to you as soon as he can!
Thanks Alyssa, please have an eye on my problem, it's now one week I my client wants to have the problem solved.
I will absolutely follow your case, Karin. I know you're on a time crunch, and we'll do all we can to get this sorted for you!
Hi Karin - did you ever find a solution?
Hi Kelley,

Hi Kelley,
You are correct that Microsoft Edge is no longer supported with Storyline 2. Do you see the same issues when you view the published file with another supported browser?
No. The issues are only with Edge. I have let my client know that it is no
longer supported.
Thanks for confirming that, Kelley!
