I used to work in W7 in can see my network drives when changing "jump url /file" I browsed to a network drive where pdf are stores ( by other coworkers) but now i not able to see network drive thru storyline, yet i can see them and browse them normally via explorer and other apps.

Just a guess, but maybe try to right-click the Storyline icon and click "Run as Administrator"...
I solved it the first time as you say you run administrator, nect time you run it normal, and it work.
