Problem - Which Quiz Results Slides work for LMS Reporting ??

Apr 24, 2013

My Quiz Result slide will not report to LMS .... here is what I have developed in the Project;

I have 2 Quizzes, basic multiple choice (each Quiz has a Quiz Result slide) and I created a 3rd Quiz Result slide that selects the 2 Quiz results slides (this is the Course Results slide).

I want to report when the Course is completed to LMS, so I select the Course Results slide to track when I Publish to LMS. However when I use this slide nothing is ever reported to LMS.

If I select one of the Quiz Results slides, I can get some results to the LMS, but then it's just for that single Quiz.

How can I get Articulate to report to LMS the results from a Quiz Results slide that selects multiple results slides?

Hi Peter,

I am having a very similar issue that Ray was originally describing - my Articulate Storyline results are not being reported to LMS (Moodle 2.4).

I have made the final slide a Results Slide, with %100 pass grade required (users can not progress to the end of the Unit without answering each question/interaction correctly - unlimited attempts with loads of hints etc)

I have trialled the content only Exiting from the Results Slide (as per conversations above), but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.

My main purpose of requiring these results to be recorded is so that in Moodle I can set the condition that users must view all the unit content before revealing the Assessment task.

Is it possible to send a copy of my file privately to be looked at?

Thanks

Jorinde

Hi Jorinde,

Peter has taken another position in Articulate and doesn't get into the forums as often, but I'm curious if you were able to follow his initial recommendation for Ray:

....try testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate-related or if it's on your LMS's side. If you're not getting the results you expect in SCORM Cloud either, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team.

The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.

If you'd like to share it privately, you're welcome to use the link above or if you'd like to send it to me directly I can send you directions on how to share privately.

Hi Jorinde,

If the course plays and tracks as expected in SCORM Cloud, then you'll want to connect with your Moodle team and share these results with them. There may be a specific setting you need to change in Moodle, or they'll be able to guide you on which way you need to publish your course to track correctly in Moodle.

Feel free to keep us posted on what Moodle shares!

Hi Ashley,

Did you see my other response to Jorinde in regards to the steps Ray was asked to go through:
