Is the content missing entirely within the library, or do you not even see that but see a black screen? The latter I've heard from a few users recently who updated the mobile player and/or their iOS and they had to do a restart to the entire iPad to see the content list again.
If you're seeing the "no content" message it seems that you'll need to reaccess the content to download to your mobile player. So either the link(s) that were sent to you via email or from within the web server/LMS where they are hosted.
There isn't a back up method that I'm aware of - although as I mentioned, if you follow the normal app update process, all the content should still be connected to the library.
Thanks for clarifying and sorry if I misunderstood. I haven't seen this happen before doing a regular app update, and it's hard to know for certain what's occurred - but I have seen a method shared here by Alexandros to create a back up - although it's not a particularly user-friendly method.

Hi Ashley,
I have restarted my IPad but it is still not there. It is a blank screen with the words No Content.
Best wishes

Ok thanks Ashley, I feared as much. Is there any way of backing up for the future?
Best wishes

Hi Helena,
I only see it happen when you've deleted the app entirely - if you use the normal "Updates" process from the app store, all the content should remain.

Hi Ashley,
Sorry for not being clear - I did follow the normal update procedure and it still wiped it all.

Thanks Ashley. If I work this out I will let you know.
