Problem with Button Click
May 02, 2014
I have inserted an audible click sound with the buttons on my presentation. For the most part it works fine but for some reason I am having problems with the first scene in the project. The click works fine when I preview in single slide mode but when I preview the project in scene mode or I publish the project most of the audible clicks don't seem to be activated in this particular scene. This suggests it may be going to the next slide before the audio is triggered. However, I have set up the triggers so the audio is triggered first, which should preclude this and it seems to work fine for the other scenes.
I suspect I may be missing the obvious but if anyone can suggest what is wrong or offer a solution it would be much appreciated.
I have attached a copy of the scene with the buttons and triggers.

Hi Paul
Try changing the Jump to Slide trigger so it fires when media completes rather than on click, that way the audio will play and the jump will happen as soon as it's done rather than being cut off.

I would change the JumpTo trigger to a slide trigger that only executes when the audio file is done playing.
Thanks guys, that's sorted out the problem. It was throwing me because triggering the audio from the click was working on most of the slides. That's technology for you. Thanks for the help.
