I'm running Storyline on a 2013 MacBook Pro 15". I'm running Windows 7 under Bootcamp. When I select Insert/Character/Illustrated, the characters appear on the screen with their bodies separated from their heads.
When I Insert the character, only a quarter of the character image appears.
If I try Insert/Character/Photographic, the characters appear normally in the window that holds them all, but again if I insert one, only a quarter of the character image appears.
Hi Robert and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! We have had decapitated characters before and it was due to DPI settings on the computer. Can you be sure that you are using 96 DPI?
I tried to change the dpi but the computer does not seem to save the settings. It continues to go back to 199, 191 DPI. This occurs even after logging off?! Any suggestions?

Hi Travis and welcome to Heroes!
You may need to do a full restart, not just log off as described at the bottom of this article Leslie referenced.
Ah, I thought I'd replied with the answer I found--here it is now.
On the MacBook Pro, I changed the SIZE OF THE TEXT---not the dpi. I believe I set it at small. That fixed. it.
Apparently Articulate is handling the characters in the text graphic area.
Good luck.
