I have created an orientation module about the components of the IT system used by my division. One of the quiz questions is a fill-in-the-blank interaction. It works perfectly when taking the quiz, but when the quiz is reviewed afterwards, a chart showing all the correct answers appears as a sort of transparent overlay to the actual slide. I haven't been able to figure out how to fix this. Help!
Hi Mary, are you using layers to show the different answers? If this is all done on 1 slide, you might consider using the "hide layer" trigger after all is said and done. For instance: Hide layer 'X' when user clicks button, or when timeline ends.
You could also edit each layer's settings and check the box "Hide other layers" (this is the default). Hope that helps, let me know if it doesn't work.
Hi Mary! Looks like Michael has popped in to assist you here. If you need further assistance, it may be helpful to share the .story file so that we can take a look.
Hi Michael, the only layers for this slide are for the "correct" and "incorrect" responses, but what's showing through isn't on any layer. It looks sort of like the behind-the-scenes form on which all the correct answers are designated for this type of quiz question.
Huh. It looks like this is a built-in feature of Storyline's review function for fill-in-the-blank (I just tested it out, and got the same result). Sorry Mary, I couldn't find any way of changing this or finding a setting to suppress those or move them to the side.
If I find anything out by messing around, I'll post it here. Hope someone else has run into this before (I just don't really use fill-in-the-blank).

Hi Leslie! I'll upload the .story file.

HI Mary,
Michael is correct - that's by design for the fill in the blank quiz review, and the options you may want to look into are:
Hope that helps!
Thanks, Ashley! I think the custom review layers will be the way to go!
