I created a course, that has an interaction containing two layers( it's in Chapter 16, the second interaction). The course was working well, but I recently received a message from a user that when she clicks the button I created or the next button to view additional information it will not show the layer with the information, nor will it allow her to proceed further.
looks like you've shared the published file. Can you share the .story file so we can take a look at the setup and what might be happening with the layers.
the file is the same size with just one slide so that doesn't look right.
Did you create a new project file and import in just that slide (that should decrease the size) or did you do a save as and remove all the other slides (that will maintain larger file size).
I didn't have the ppt, so I deleted all slides and published the one.

looks like you replied via email and unfortunately the attachments won't show in the forum. You'll need to click 'View' on your email then open the post in the forum and use the grey 'add attachment' button at the bottom of the post.
Thanks, Wendy! I don't have the ppt, and yes I did delete all of them and republished it. Is there a way you can share my screen and see what I see on the course?

Hi Kathy, not sure why you are referring to the ppt - don't you have the .story file available? That is the source file (the one you open in Storyline) that I'm referring to.
do you know which browser the user was using to access the module. I added another slide so I could test the next button and I'm not having any trouble previewing the slide and both layers.
Is the module being viewed via the web or through an LMS?
I uploaded to Scormcloud LMS and can view it without issue. You'll probably need to isolate the 'user' who is having issues down a bit more.
Are they viewing the flash version or HTML5 version through your LMS?
Which browser are they using to view the content? Only Chrome is supported for SL2 / HTML5 output on Windows or Safari on a Mac ---> here are the tech specs
Are they the only user having issues? can the IT department check out their setup

Wendy,
I'm sorry, here's the correct file.
Wow Kathy big course. Would you be able to create a new file and just import the slides for Chap 16 and upload that.
Hey Wendy,
Sorry about the size. Here's the slide I was talking about.

Wendy,
My apologies, I wasn't thinking.
Got it Kathy - downloading now. I'll let you know what I find ;-)
Thanks

It's being viewed through our LMS
