If you're viewing the published output within the intended environment - it's the Flash output that you're viewing (or HTML5) so it's less about the video format or type. As Wendy shared above, Storyline does reencode the videos based on their source and how you've published - so you may want to look into those different types. The system/viewing requirements that I linked to include information about which browser and flash version you'll want to sure you have on your computer.

Hi Achikam
this is from the Articulate support site...not sure if it helps you diagnose why the videos won't run...
Also check security settings of the browser...
Hi Achikam, are you running it locally or online? If local try online using a webserver if you have or http://tempshare.articulate.com
web and lms output should not change your content. lms output just adds some extra files...
Hi Achikam,
Also, you may want to view the troubleshooting steps here in regards to why videos may not be playing within your published content - and also confirm that you're viewing the course within a supported browser with flash as detailed here in the viewing requirements.
Thank you, everyone, for your input.
I think that I (partially) figured it out.
The videos do not work on my new Mac (but worked on my older one).
They do run on a PC, so I guess it has to do with the video compatibility of my new computer.
Can anyone tell me what are the requirements? I guess I'm asking to know what video format I'm missing.
