Problem with publishing to the web

Oct 21, 2014

Hello,

I have a course which includes short videos (ultrasound clips). When I publish it to LMS there are no problem with viewing the clips.

However, when I publish it to the Web and run it the course runs well EXCEPT that the videos won't show.

Any ideas why the videos won't run?

Thanks!

Thank you, everyone, for your input.

I think that I (partially) figured it out.

The videos do not work on my new Mac (but worked on my older one).

They do run on a PC, so I guess it has to do with the video compatibility of my new computer.

Can anyone tell me what are the requirements? I guess I'm asking to know what video format I'm missing.

Hi Achikam,

If you're viewing the published output within the intended environment - it's the Flash output that you're viewing (or HTML5) so it's less about the video format or type. As Wendy shared above, Storyline does reencode the videos based on their source and how you've published - so you may want to look into those different types. The system/viewing requirements that I linked to include information about which browser and flash version you'll want to sure you have on your computer.
