This is my first day using Articulate Storyline so i am having a bit of a play around and watching the tutorials. I am trying to add a voice recording to my slide and it will count down to 1s then freeze and not begin to record. Is this something im doing wrong? The computers microphone is working fine.
I had the same issue, but it seems inconsistent. Saving the project, reopening it, or even restarting the computer could solve the problem.
If not, another work around could be to add a sound from file....then go to the audio editor under options...and record a new sound with your microphone....I found that the recorder didn't freeze at that point.
Let me know if that worked for you.
(I have found several bugs like this.....and they are so inconsistent that it is hard to make a list of them)
